AMRITA CHANDA
Amrita Chanda lived in a house for a long time. She now lives in a room, somewhere. She comes out for open mics and does not appreciate greetings. Amrita started doing stand up because that’s the only way she’ll talk. Her family is just getting to know her. It’s going well. Her journey so far, as a stand up primarily involves her idea of not being able to write the perfect joke, getting booed off stage on self-suggestion, learning how to handle a tank, work harder and go die on stage the next day again. She doesn’t do stand up for fun. She talks about absolute displeasure around things and self, anger issues, incompetence, pencils, dairy, geography and a particular pig’s tail. She also has a joke on wood that she refrains from doing on stage because she does not want to be too relatable.
